Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Traverse Area District Library (TADL), a network of libraries serving Grand Traverse County.
We appreciate you sharing your time and talents as a volunteer. Your support allows the TADL system to provide a higher level of services to the citizens of our community, while providing a satisfying service experience for volunteers.
Currently we are seeking enthusiastic, detail oriented, adult volunteers. The library can set up a regular volunteer schedule for you assisting at your favorite branch (Woodmere, East Bay, Kingsley). Or, if you prefer to help out at special events and programs like Summer Reading, Volunteer Recognition Events, Genealogy, or the Grand Traverse Area Children's Garden, we can keep your information on file and give you a call when we need you.
Download and fill out a volunteer application. All applications should be turned in to the Administration Office on the second floor of TADL's Woodmere (Main) Branch.
The Library does not accept volunteers through any court-ordered or diversion program.
