Public Hearing on the 2004 Budget

            The Public Hearing on the proposed 2004 Budget was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by President Mesch.  Present were Mesch, Lawrence, Quick, Luyt and Brown.  Maxson arrived at 5:36 p.m.  Welch was absent.  Also present were Roe (Counsel), McGuire, Schneider, and Buchanan (Staff).

 

            Schneider introduced the budget and he and McGuire answered questions from the trustees.  Maxson said that the Finance Committee had met with staff to work out the details of the budget, and the Committee felt comfortable that the budget as presented was as good as it could be.

 

            The hearing was opened for public comment.  G. Galic addressed the Board.  There was no further public comment.  Mesch declared the public hearing closed at 5:55 p.m.
