our Summer Reading Club “BE CREATIVE”
2009
Sign-up
begins June 7th
Read as many books as you like this
summer. We will give you a “Reading Record” to keep track of your books.
These can be library books, books from home, or any book you choose.
During any of the 8 weeks in our program, come to our specially decorated area during regular library hours and tell us about your reading. You may tell us about one or two books per week. Your report may be as short or long as you want. Each week that you participate you will receive a small token “Book Bonus”.
After
5 reports you will receive a “Certificate of Accomplishment”. After
earning your certificate you may continue to participate for all 8 weeks. All
readers and their families are invited to celebrate at the end of the program
with an
Open House Party on August 8th.
Reports may be given starting June 14th
