The Programs Committee at the Fife Lake Library invites you to attend a new series - Showcasing Local Artists and Craftsmen. On Thursday, November 12th, from 4-8PM, local artist, Sandy Curtis, will be displaying her intricate pine needle baskets. While vacationing in Gulf Shores Alabama, Sandy took a class making these wonderful creations from the discards on our forest floors - pine needles. Come and watch how she creates them, ask her questions, and take a look at the book that will guide you in making a basket yourself.
