125th Anniversary

The residents of Fife Lake Township have enjoyed the benefits of having a public library from as early at 1887 when the township received $17.00 from Grand Traverse County for funding a library. During the early years, the Library was housed in various locations. You may have borrowed a book from a cabinet at the local newspaper office or general store. In the 1920's and 30's

Special Closing Notice

The Fife Lake Library will be closing at 6:00PM on the 21st of February for upgrades to our computers. Patrons will not have access to online resources at this time.Service should be restored no later than 9AM, Wednesday, February 22. The Community Room will be open for our Writer's Workshop program that evening.
