It has been said that the Friends Gift Shop has the best selection of greeting cards in the city! Located in the beautiful Atrium of TADL's Woodmere (Main) Branch, the Gift Shop is also stocked with beautiful journals, quality bookmarks, accessories, and other unexpected literary-inspired gifts. Stop in and find that special gift maybe a little somthing for yourself too.
The Gift Shop is operated by the Friends of the Traverse Area District Library is open Mon.- Wed. from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Thur. and Fri. from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Gift Shop is run completely by volunteers and offers practical, whimsical, and educational products that celebrate reading, writing, and literature. Sales benefit the Friends of the Traverse Area District Library. At the Gift Shop, the Friends have an on-going book sale where books may be purchased for $1, hard cover and .50 paper back, under the stairs.
