If other agencies are available to help with questions about the law.

Please note the staff makes every effort to help patrons use the County Law Library's collection,
however, by law (MCL 600.916 Unauthorized practice of law), the staff cannot:

Give legal advice.
State opinions on legal issues.
Interpret the law, regulations, court cases, or any other legal materials.
Select specific forms.
Choose or recommend language for use on any form or other legal document.
Answer most phone inquiries about the law.

Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5pm. (except legal holidays)

It is located on the 4th floor of the Grand Traverse County Courthouse, 328 Washington.
(at the corner of Washington and Boardman streets)
