Salute to original Adams Fly

The original Adams Fly, tied by Len Halladay in 1922 for his friend Judge Charlie Adams, will be presented for permanent display at Kingsley Branch Library on Sunday, April 18, 2010, from 1:00-3:00 PM. Unfolding before our eyes is a beautiful storybook mural in the Children’s room. Original concept and design by artists Emily Bert and Glenn Wolff. Kingsley Branch Library Holiday Open House entertained over 300 participants!
December 5, 2009 - 2:52pm — mfraquelliA great time was had by all who attended the Kingsley Branch Library Open House. Fudge by Design served delicious treats, Kingsley Middle School Band students entertained the crowd with delightful holiday music and many enjoyed the craft tables, submersing their minds in creating some holiday ornaments and jewelry. In addition, the public had an opportunity to meet Metta T. Lansdale, Jr., Director, Traverse Area District Library. read more »

Metta Lansdale announced as new Library Director
September 3, 2009 - 4:04pm — websterRobert Thompson, President of the Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Metta Lansdale has been hired as the new Director of the Traverse Area District Library (TADL) and is scheduled to start on November 1. She will be replacing Michael McGuire who is retiring September 30 after 34 years of service. read more »
