Skein Gang
The Skein Gang is a knitting group that started in the summer of 2009, facilitated by Karen Pack, Ellen LaTulip, and Beth Anderson. It continues today with a wide variety of knitting skills and styles. The original group of about eight moms and kids has grown to more than forty participants of all ages. A typical night will have anywhere from eight to fifteen knitters present.
On Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:00, you can learn, teach, share, get inspired, or just enjoy getting together. We are a very low-key gang, and there are all knitting levels present from casting on the first stitch to 46 years of experience – we all learn something new from each other!
We no longer meet during the summer, but from September through May, each meeting will be posted on our website. For more information, please call the Kingsley Branch Library at (231) 263-5484, or you can email Karen (kpack@tadl.org).
