Services and Equipment at Kingsley
TADL libraries have a variety of computers and equipment available for the public.
11 Public Computers:
- 2 computers for access to the Library's online catalog only
- 1 computer for genealogy research only
- 6 computers for Internet access, with filtered access options
- 2 laptops for patron use at the Library.
- Computers equipped with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Wireless Internet Access:
- Available to users with Wi-Fi enabled laptops and wireless devices
- Can connect throughout the building
- No hourly or daily user fees
- Users responsible for configuring own equipment and connecting to network
- Settings:
- SSID (Service Set Identifier) or network name = tadl-patron-wireless
- Encryption or WEP = disable WEP encryption
- Mode or Network Type = Infrastructure Mode or Access Point (not ad-hoc)
- Set TCP/IP properties to "Obtain an IP address automatically" (DHCP)
PLEASE NOTE: The wireless Internet service is not secure and is used at the individual's risk. Even if firewalls are running on laptops, it is recommended that sensitive information not be sent through this network.
Copiers & Printers:
- Copier and printer available
- Black and white copies are $x per page
- Black and white prints are $x per page
Telephones:
- Audible cell phone and pager ringers must be turned off.

The original Adams Fly, tied by Len Halladay in 1922 for his friend Judge Charlie Adams, will be presented for permanent display at Kingsley Branch Library on Sunday, April 18, 2010, from 1:00-3:00 PM.
