PCC Software List
We have a variety of software installed for use on both PC-based and Macintosh computers. Here is a list detailing our most popular offerings.

All PCs have these programs:
Internet
An Internet browser is a program used to access web sites such as your e-mail and the library's web page. We have two Internet browsers installed on our computers, Internet Explorer and FireFox.
Microsoft Office 2007
All the library PCs are equipped with the latest Microsoft Office programs. There are some differences between office 2007 and older versions of the programs, so be sure and ask PCC Staff if you need assistance. The Office 2007 suite includes: Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. more information »
Open Office
Currently, the Traverse Area District Schools are using OpenOffice for creating documents and presentations. The library has Open Office 2.4 which includes: Writer, Math, Impress, Draw, Calc, and Base. These programs perform many of the same functions as the Microsoft Office programs. more information »

There are many different formats playing and editing music, videos, and photos. In order to cover a wide range of formates we offer a number of programs.
