Woodmere
Welcome to the meeting room page. Each use of a meeting room at Woodmere requires a signed agreement acknowledging TADL Board policy on Use of Meeting Rooms. You may be asked to provide documentation to assure compliance with some TADL policy elements such as to show non for profit status or non-partisan status.

Keep in mind we have first come, first served use so this changes regularly.
To check availability on immediate walk in, next day or same day use of study rooms please contact the Adult Reference Department at 231-932-8502. Please remember these rooms are first come, first served; although they can be reserved in advance.
To place an advanced booking for the McGuire Community Room, Thirlby Room or Study Room D, please read the policy below then print, complete and submit the agreement via:

Please fill out an Agreement. Your signature acknowledging your agreement with the terms of TADL Policy is required for all advance reservations.
McGuire Community Room
The McGuire Community Room is located just left of the entrance to the Woodmere facility and serves as the venue for library programs and public meetings throughout the year. It is suitable for meetings, presentations, web based meetings or film screenings.
Art Exhibits: The Traverse Area District Library welcomes local artists to display artwork on a monthly basis. If you are interested in exhibiting artwork please email Kristen Talaga, Marketing and Communications Manager.
McGuire Room Details

Thirlby Room
Public use of this room must be scheduled in advance. The use of installed equipment in this room is limited to library business needs or organizations paying a rental fee. Non fee paying public users of this room may bring in personal laptops and silent projectors for group meetings but may not use sound projection.
Study Rooms
Study Rooms A, B and C can accommodate up to two (2) people and are available on a first come, first served basis. To use these rooms, please inquire at the Reference desk on the second floor.
Study Room D is suitable for small group meetings and discussion groups of six (6) or fewer people. The room is 11.5ft x 12.5ft (143.75 sq. ft.) and features a table, 6 chairs and a whiteboard. It is available on a first come, first served basis but can be reserved in advance once per month.
