Traverse Area District Library patrons are invited to pick up a passport from any TADL location
and Travel the TADL! Present the passport at each community library to receive credit for visiting. Stop in to borrow a book, movie, CD; use a computer, attend a program, or just to say, "Hi".
TADL’s Woodmere (Main) Branch will be closed August 26-September 3
to redesign the lobby which will feature a Welcome Desk and Express Checkout
. Therefore, patrons are encouraged to visit Woodmere early in the month.
“We hope this activity brings greater awareness to TADL’s network of community libraries,” said Metta T. Lansdale, TADL Director. “It will also serve as a reminder when Woodmere is closed, that patrons have access to five other amazing community libraries within the District.”
Completed passports can be returned to the Woodmere (Main) Branch before September 10 to be entered into a random drawing to win prizes donated by the following Woodmere corridor neighboring businesses: The Floral Underground, The Filling Station, Full Moon Pizza Company, The Kitchen, Salon Stage, The Soup Cup.
The Traverse Area District Library is a network of community libraries serving the Grand Traverse County through the following libraries: Woodmere (Main) Branch in Traverse City, East Bay Branch, Kingsley Branch, Fife Lake Public Library, Interlochen Public Library, Peninsula Community Library.
