We will start taking reports for Summer Reading Club June 16, 2013 at the Woodmere Library. Any child who can read may join. Read any book you choose and come in and tell us about it.Summer Reading Club (SRC) is for children who are reading on their own. We give the child a reading record to list the books they have read. Children may read and record as many books as they like. Each week of the SRC, children can come in any time we are open, except the last 15 minutes before closing, and talk about one or two books they have read. A staff member or volunteer will be here to listen in the area we decorate to match the SRC theme. This is not a school report; it is a conversation with a caring adult.
