TADL Selected For Inaugural Year of Pour For More

Pour For More
The concept is simple: Patrons of participating venues do the giving. Pour for More (PFM) distributes the funds to the local nonprofit/beneficiary organizations.

To avoid seasonal fluctuations, Pour for More guarantees consistent giving. To maintain an ongoing relationship with all participating organizations, contributions are held by PFM and released quarterly to all 12 beneficiary organizations. This way, PFM compounds micro-scale donations from participating vendors

Traverse Area District Library was selected as one of twelve area organizations to benefit from the inaugural year of Pour For More. Each month, one of the twelve beneficiary organizations is featured. This allows the featured organization exclusive opportunity to co-host events at one or more of the Pour For More venues. TADL is the featured charity during the month of February.

To kick off February, our friends at The Filling Station Microbrewery held a celebration benefit night on Thursday, February 2nd.  During this family-friendly event, The Filling Station donated a portion from the sale of featured pizzas directly to TADL. Among the featured pizzas from that night was the special “Novel Pie” pizza creation. During the month of February at The Filling Station, the featured Pour for More charity Tap is: “TADaLe” (Amber Ale). They also matched an additional $1 to TADL for every featured Pour For More pint sold! (Each Pour for More pint benefits all 12 local charities, the matching dollar goes directly to TADL)

Library patrons, friends and neighbors, showed up in support of the Traverse Area District Library (TADL) on this special night and helped to generate a $500 donation to TADL courtesy of The Filling Station. Thank you for your support of TADL and for the generosity of The Filling Station Microbrewery!
