21st Annual Poets’ Night Out Contest Now Accepting Submissions
Poets of all ages are invited to enter their original poetry in the 21st annual Poets’ Night Out (PNO) Contest presented by the Traverse Area District Library (TADL). Poetry submissions are now being accepted until Sunday, January 25, 2018 for the public poetry contest.
Residents of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, or Wexford counties, are invited to submit up to three original poems in the annual Poets’ Night Out contest. Submitted poems must be typewritten and include three copies of each poem.

Submissions will be accepted until January 25, 2018 via mail or can be dropped off at the TADL Main Library located at 610 Woodmere Ave., Traverse City, Michigan 49686.
Poets’ Night Out offers a platform for poets in our community of all ages, professional or amateur, to have an affordable opportunity to become published, to read to a receptive audience and to network with fellow writers.
Winning poems will be published in the Poets’ Night Out chapbook, and winning poets will be asked to read their poem at the Poets’ Night Out event at the City Opera House on Sunday April 8, 2018.
