Smart Money Week starts April 11!

Did you know that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing offers free currency readers to any U.S. citizens who is blind or visually impaired? It is simple to use: insert a bill into the device, press a button on the side, and the denomination will be identified. There are three different ways you can set up the reader to announce the denomination:  a voice, a pattern of tones, or a pattern of vibrations (this mode can assist people who are deaf and blind).

Have a mobile device? You can download these applications to help identify U.S. currency.
