Animals Tales: Summer Reading Registration program (on Zoom*)

June 17 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm| Main Library (Traverse City)

Join us* for a registration program on Zoom leading up to this year’s Summer Reading Club.

Talking animals are a common theme in mythology, folktales, and children’s literature. Fictional talking animals often are anthropomorphic, possessing human-like qualities. The usage of animals that speak enables storytellers to combine the basic characteristics of the animal with a human’s behavior, to apply metaphor and to entertain children. This program will feature a variety of live mammals, reptiles, and birds to provide a fascinating and unforgettable show.

To watch via Zoom, please use the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81902630805

*There will be room for up to 50 people to watch this program on the big screen in our McGuire Community Room. Seating will be first come, first served.

Summer Reading Club runs from June 21st thru August 2nd. For more information, please visit tadl.org/summerreading or call 231-932-8503.
