Understanding the Basic Elements of Flavor for Home Cooking

(with cooking demonstration), Part Two

In this class Chef Loghan Call of Planted Cuisine will go over the basic fundamentals of flavor building in the home kitchen. We will go over how salt, fat, acid and heat all play important roles in creating delicious dishes while being mindful of your health. This class was designed to help build confidence for home cooks to not just be able to follow a recipe, but to be able to whip up a dish or fix a dish without recipe supervision. Chef Loghan will do a handful of demonstrations that highlight the techniques covered.

The latter part of the class will be open for questions from viewers to engage with Chef Loghan on related and unrelated cooking, food, soil, agriculture and sourcing questions.
