Digital Audio Recording for Beginners.

Would you like to learn the basics of digital audio recording for music or spoken word? Join us on November 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the McGuire Community Rm at the TADL Main Library for an introduction on how to record audio with simple digital recorders like a computer or a smartphone.

Our special guest presenter Ben Davila, from the ROCK STOP school of music, will lead you on a short lesson to help you be ready to record a demo track or a spoken word recording that will sound great!

Discussion topics include: Pre-production basics, The Tools (Microphones, Digital Audio Interfaces & Recording Devices: phones, tablets, and laptops), Software: GarageBand, ProTools & Logic, Basic Principles of Recording, Recording Audio Instruments, and how to bring it all together.

This program is free and open to all levels of interest. Presented by: The TADL Sight & Sound Department in collaboration with The Rock Stop music school.
