History Between the Lakes: How Interlochen Came to Be, this historical film will be shown on Fri., June 7, 2019.  Two showings are offered:  7 pm or 8 pm at Interlochen Public Library’s New Community Room.  Admission is free but tickets are required.  Call the library or stop by to reserve your seat                231-276-6767.  Please pick up your free ticket(s) at least 15 minutes prior to the viewing, otherwise tickets will be forfeited.

Ten thousand years ago the last ice age carved out two lakes with a narrow strip of land between. Interlochen resident, Dave Pennington, takes us through the history of the people who have shaped this area and how Interlochen came to earn a global reputation.
