Preserving food at home may be a practice that goes back for generations, but it is critical for anyone preserving and processing foods to have the most reliable and current information available about food safety and quality. Join Michigan State University Extension, who is a trusted source for research-based information and education on proper canning methods and approved recipes.
This program will feature Preserving Food for Gifts. Don’t put your water bath or steam canner away yet! There are several high acid items you can make for gifts. Join us for this session to learn what can be made for gifts to give in the coming weeks.
