Robert Downes, Local Author

Join us for an evening with Robert Downes, local author and outdoor enthusiast. He is an author of many books on biking, backpacking, and traveling, as well as several fiction books. His latest novel, The Wolf and the Willow is a prequel to his previous title, Windigo Moon, a story about the indigenous Ojibwe people of our region. Mr. Downes will share stories of first contact between Native peoples and the Vikings, Spanish conquistadors, English colonists and French voyageurs with a focus on the Anishinaabek & tribes of the Great Lakes

Always a great speaker and a big supporter of TADL, you will enjoy listening to Mr. Downes’ stories.

This will be an in person program.
