October 11 @ 11:00 am

Join us for a very special Indigenous Peoples’ Day StoryTime program at The Dennos Museum Center featuring a special guest or two. Families will receive  copy of  the book Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story by Kevin Noble Maillard. The museum will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission will be free on Indigenous Peoples’ Day (October 11th). Masks are required in all NMC buildings, including The Dennos. Families are strongly encouraged to follow CDC guidelines and wear masks to these programs. Capacity will be limited and distancing will occur.  Call the library at 932-8503 for more information.

This program is part of TADL and The Dennos Museum’s participation in The Big Read program, featuring the title An American Sunrise by poet Joy Harjo. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
