Understanding the Philosophy of Hospice Care

November 1 @ 2:00 pm

FREE

When people take care of a dying family member, it can be a rewarding but emotionally and physically draining experience. Research shows that family caregivers who receive hospice too late prove 700% more likely to experience major depressive disorder.* It does not have to be that way.

November is National Hospice Month that helps draw attention and awareness to the philosophy of hospice care.  Join us as local experts explain what hospice is, who it benefits, when to ask for it and the process itself.

This was an in person program in the McGuire Community Room and was also broadcast on Zoom. A recording is available on our YouTube channel.
