Elementary & Tween

The Youth Department now circulates STEM Kits for youth in elementary and middle school. These kits focus on engaging youth in the four branches of STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) via a wide assortment of tools including Little Bits, Makey Makey, Enigneering with Ramps, and so many more. Stop by the Youth Services desk to review available selections.

Whether you want to experiment with our Little Bits or try out new creations with our Makey Makeys, this is the place. Includes tutorials and links to using these fun tech tools.

Pre-teen youth (ages 9-12) are invited to hang-out, make some stuff, and plan future programs together. We meet on Thursdays at 4 p.m. during the school year (not including school breaks).
