After witnessing, from a great distance, the tragic events in Haiti following the devastating series of earthquakes beginning January 12th 2010, we feel it is important to help you reach out to those in need by organizing and presenting a list of charitable organizations who are actively engaged in providing relief to survivors of the quake. Whether you are interested in finding out more information about the events, locating lost friends or relatives, making donations of time, money or items, the links listed below should be a good place to start. read more »

Make Your Own Valentine Drop-In
Drop in to the East Bay Branch Library on Wednesday February 10th & Friday February 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and make Valentines with paper scraps, glitter doilies and stickers provided by the library, or bring your own materials for a personal touch!
