We offer Free WiFi at all of our locations. Hundreds of people use this service on a weekly basis. Whether you need to check your e-mail, upload photos, do research or just goof off on the web you can do it here!

NLS/BPH Digital Talking Book Players

Grand Traverse Area Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped has begun roll-out of new Digital Book Machines.  Beginning with veterans, we have sent out about 50 digital players so far to users in our 16 county service area.

Strong Newspaper, Strong Community-Then & Now

A free exhibit chronicling the Record-Eagle's 150^th annivarsary year and Traverse City Now. On display through November in both the McGuire Room and the 1^st floor loby display cases.

Baby Play Time

 All babies under 2 are invited to join Miss Sharon for stories, music and movement at the Interlochen Public Library at 10:00 AM the 1^st and 3^rd Friday of each month.

Read to Katie

The 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of each month from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Interlochen Public Library. Katie is a 120 lb. St. Bernard who loves to listen to you read. 

TADL BATL Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament

On Saturday December 5th from 1:00-4:00 in the the McGuire room at the Traverse Area District Library Woodmere location there will be a Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament for everyone 12-years-old and up.

Dungeons & Dragons @ The Library

Come play Dungeons & Dragons at the Traverse Area District Library Woodmere Location Dec. 12^th. Participation is free and open to everyone 15 and up. We start rolling at 10:30 am.
