Friends of TADL: Celebrating 30 Years of Service to the Community!

Celebrating 30 years of service to the community, the Friends of the Traverse Area District Library will host a special annual meeting on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. in the McGuire Room at the Main Branch of the Traverse Area District Library. The evening will include refreshments, a brief meeting, and featured guest, local author, Jerry Dennis. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this annual meeting.

Park and Read Program Returns for Fourth Season

The natural landscape, sandy bluffs and amazingly blue-green freshwater that make up Michigan’s state parks is a true gift to enjoy. Take advantage of the Traverse Area District Library’s partnership with Michigan’s Park and Read program to enjoy a day free of charge to any Michigan state park. Check out a book and a state park pass from any TADL location good for one day.

  • Miniature Night with Carolyn Swisher

    Create a Fairy Garden of your very own with the East Bay Miniature Club!  Join local artist Carolyn Swisher and guest artist Robin Stanley as they demonstrate the art of making miniatures.  This month you can create a mini-fairy garden using plants and supplies provided by the library.
