Hooray!
We are in our new building and it is beautiful. Thanks to everyone in the community for all your help. You know who you are!!! There has been a township library in Fife Lake since 1887 when we received $17.00 from Grand Traverse County for our Township Library. Since 1945 we were in a one-room schoolhouse built in 1878 until our current move in July 2006 to a new library at 77 Lakecrest Lane. We have 6 public computers! We are busy scheduling new programs. Our community room is available for non-profit and private usage. Call for info.
If you would like to contribute or have any further questions, please call or write the library.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
"Catch the
Reading Bug" is the theme for this summer's reading program.

joys of laughter and reading called, "Stop Buggin' Me; I'm Readin'.
Three performances will be held. One
each at Fife Lake & South Boardman Schools and one at the Forest Area High
School. On July 9th professor Anson Pantz (aka Pete Stobie) will be
presenting "Insects Do the Strangest Things".
