Delays & Closures: Tuesday March 17

For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

  • Delayed - Opening at Noon (12 pm):

    • Main Library - Woodmere Ave.

    • East Bay Branch Library

    • Kingsley Branch Library

    • Fife Lake Public Library

    • Interlochen Public Library

Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

  1. Check out a Library Baking Pan (at Kingsley Branch Library)
  2. Whip up something tasty
  3. Sample the confections on Bake Day!

 

Twenty amateur local bakers are bringing their best to Bake & Tell Challenge 2026, and we need your help! Come support our bakers, sample their delicious treats, and vote for the People's Choice!

Here are the rules for tasting and voting:

1. Arrive around 1pm
2. Eat baked goods
3. Ask the bakers questions
4. Vote on your favorite!

Disclaimer: This is a potluck event. We will require a list of ingredients to be submitted, but there will be no oversight from the Health Department on the quality of goods prepared.
