Join the State Theatre and Traverse Area District Library for a FREE movie night!

We'll be viewing The Librarians, a 2025 American documentary film, directed and produced by Kim A. Snyder. It follows librarians in Texas, Florida, and other states, as they unite to combat book banning in the United States.

Please visit this website to reserve your FREE tickets.

This event brought to you through a partnership with Traverse Area District Library, Traverse City Film Festival, and The State Theatre and is made possible in part by a grant from Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. (Funding for the NEA, much like the IMLS, is currently being threatened. To learn how you can help support libraries, visit this page.)
