Step back into Traverse City’s past with “A Cradle of Democracy, Andrew Carnegie's legacy in Traverse City: From the Local History Collection,” an exhibit exploring Andrew Carnegie’s lasting local legacy through images from the beloved Sixth Street Library. Built in 1902, this iconic Carnegie library served as a cornerstone of community life for more than 90 years. Drawn from the Local History Collection, these photographs celebrate the power of public spaces to educate, connect, and inspire generations.
