Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Main Library or on Zoom as Rosie Chapman performs her one woman show of "Coretta Scott King: My Life with Martin Luther King, Jr." This performance aims to bring Dr. King's story to life though historical facts and audience participation. Miz Rosie's performances often blend humor, historical accuracy, and audience engagement to create a memorable "edutainment" experience.

Rosie Chapman, aka Miz Rosie, is a teacher, performing artist, and storyteller from Michigan.  She has a background in English and Theatre, earning a Bachelor's in English from Bluffton University, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a Master's in Art Education from Wayne State University. She is known for her one-woman shows about various historical African American women, such as Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Sojourner Truth.
