Delays & Closures: Tuesday March 17

For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

  • Delayed - Opening at Noon (12 pm):

    • Main Library - Woodmere Ave.

    • East Bay Branch Library

    • Kingsley Branch Library

    • Fife Lake Public Library

    • Interlochen Public Library

Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

DIY Delights: Glowmen and Whirligigs!

Event Details

Join Miss Kate for cozy winter craft program where we will bring the magic of winter to life with TWO charming hands-on crafts! Create an adorable glowing snowman friend to take home. Kids will decorate a ping-pong ball "head" and place it on a battery candle for a little winter buddy to keep. 

Also, we'll travel back in time, when toys were more simple, and make classic spinning toys using cardboard and string. Kids will love seeing how fast they can make them whirl. 

Drop in and create! Some parental help will be needed. All supplies will be provided. Recommended ages 4+
