Delays & Closures: Tuesday March 17

For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

  • Delayed - Opening at Noon (12 pm):

    • Main Library - Woodmere Ave.

    • East Bay Branch Library

    • Kingsley Branch Library

    • Fife Lake Public Library

    • Interlochen Public Library

Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

Event Details

East Bay is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the author Jane Austen’s birth all month long in December, so join us for an Austen-inspired craft of Dorset button making on December 18th!  The basic crosswheel pattern of a Dorset button can be made with different threads and colors and embellished with beads and become unique holiday ornaments for trees or wreaths!  

Hot tea will be available and all supplies will be provided.
