For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

Monday March 16

All TADL locations will be closed 

Tuesday March 17

  • Woodmere - Delayed, open at noon

  • East Bay Branch Library - Delayed, open at noon

  • Kingsley Branch Library - Delayed, open at noon

  • Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

Representing yourself in a divorce or custody case? This clinic can help!

This clinic will address family law matters including custody, divorce, child support, and parenting time. You will be able to get forms, get help filling them out, and speak with licensed attorneys about your case for no charge. There are two sections to this clinic. One section addresses general questions about divorce/custody/parenting time/child support.  The other section is for participants who do not need the "class" environment and have specific legal question pertaining to their issue.  

Be sure to bring any paperwork you may have regarding your case.

Legal Services of Northern Michigan is a nonprofit law firm that is partnering with private attorneys to provide guidance to those who are representing themselves in their divorce or custody cases.  The Zonta Club of Traverse City provided funding for this clinic.
