Delays & Closures: Tuesday March 17

For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

  • Delayed - Opening at Noon (12 pm):

    • Main Library - Woodmere Ave.

    • East Bay Branch Library

    • Kingsley Branch Library

    • Fife Lake Public Library

    • Interlochen Public Library

Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

Event Details

Join TADL at the Dennos Museum for their third annual sensory-friendly Halloween event, along with the Children's Therapy Corner,  Children's Advocacy Center and, of course, TADL Youth Services! There will be a variety of fun activities, being mindful of diverse sensory needs and accommodations to create an inclusive environment where all are welcome!  

Although the museum has made considerations for a variety of sensory needs for this event, families are encouraged to bring any accommodations that may be helpful. Questions about the event can be directed to Liz Celeste at eceleste@nmc.edu.
