Delays & Closures: Tuesday March 17

For the safety of library staff, cardholders, and those serving our community during the winter storm, TADL is announcing the following service hour changes at this time:

  • Delayed - Opening at Noon (12 pm):

    • Main Library - Woodmere Ave.

    • East Bay Branch Library

    • Kingsley Branch Library

    • Fife Lake Public Library

    • Interlochen Public Library

Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

Open your toolbox for your indoor projects! Don't have a toolbox? Join NMC Construction Tech Coordinator, Carolyn Andrews to make the most out of the tools available for rent at your library. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast, a budding artist, or a hobbyist, this session will walk you through how to properly use and care for a variety of tools that can be checked out, including tools for home improvement, crafting, and more. You’ll get practical demonstrations, learn safety tips, and gain the confidence to borrow and use these items effectively. No prior experience required – just come ready to learn and explore!

 

This is a free class offered in partnership with Northwestern Michigan College Extended Education program. Registration is required.
