Monday March 16

All TADL locations will be closed 

Tuesday March 17

  • Woodmere - Delayed, open at noon

  • East Bay Branch Library - Delayed, open at noon

  • Kingsley Branch Library - Delayed, open at noon

  • Peninsula Community Library - Closed

Libraries scheduled for delayed openings may close as conditions dictate. Please check this website regularly for any additional service hour impacts that may be a result of the winter storm. Any item due dates affected by the closures will be extended.

Join Chef Tom at the Kingsley Branch Library on the last Saturday of every month for “Simply Delicious with Chef Tom,” a quick and inspiring cooking class! You’ll learn tips and techniques, discover global cuisine and spices, build your personal cooking skills and menu repertoire, and sample delicious eats! Bring a friend!

Chef Tom Sisco is a retired, certified chef with more than 25 years of experience in everything from “mom & pop” restaurants to 4-star hotels. When he was in the 7th grade, his wise mother told him that if he was going to continue to love eating as he does, he would need to learn to cook. He took the hint to heart, enrolled in NMC’s Culinary Program, and made cooking his life’s trade. This is Chef Tom’s 13th year with the Kingsley Branch Library.
