Event Details

Get groovy with our fun-filled activities to kick-start our 2023 Summer Library Challenge! We'll be all together on the front lawn of the Main Library with games, snacks, and activities with our friends from Challenge Island, the Grand Traverse Conservation District (and SciStarter), E3, and the Youth Services department.

We'll have collaborative art activities available for patrons of all ages to contribute to, including our mini art wall. Come by, get signed up for the Summer Library Challenge, pick up your t-shirt (while supplies last) and registration bag, have some fun with us, and START READING!

And if you like magic, you won't want to miss our kickoff show with magician and entertainer Cameron Zvara at 11 AM.
