Wrap up a great summer of reading and art with a celebration for the whole family in Hull Park! Join us for our Summer Reading Club Finale Party, featuring games, activities, treats, and exciting prize drawings for readers of all ages. Whether you’re a toddler, teen, or grown-up book lover, come celebrate your reading achievements and enjoy one last burst of summer fun together!
Our schedule of events will go as follows:
- 6 - 7 PM: Join us in Hull Park for games and activities, including TADL Departments and libraries, as well as The Painted Lady Face Art, Challenge Island NW MI, TC Double Bubble, Grand Traverse 4-H, and the TADL Book Bike. Make art, participate in STEM Challenges and find other, fun activities at these stations.
- NEW THIS YEAR! Kids Karaoke. Kids can belt out their favorite songs as part of our Kids Karaoke event. Sign-up to sing a song HERE.
- Be sure to scan the Family Prize QR Code to enter into our Family Prize drawings for great items like an Annual Family Membership to the Dennos Museum, Paddle TC (4 hour gift certificate), 2 sets of Discovery Cruise family passes, and waterpark passes to the Great Wolf Lodge.
- 7 PM: Mr. Andy and Ms. Michele announce the Finishers' Prize winners of this year's Summer Reading Club.
- Patrons must earn 600 points by July 27th to qualify for the Finale drawings.
- Participants in our Readers program also earn a ticket at 300 points.
- When you earn your tickets (300 or 600 points), please make sure your tickets are entered into the prize drawings in Beanstack.
- Prize categories: Family Prizes (must be present to win), Reader, Teen, and Adult (do not need to be present to win these).
- Patrons must earn 600 points by July 27th to qualify for the Finale drawings.
- 7:30 PM: The celebration ends.
You do not need to complete the Summer Reading Club to attend our Finale program.
