According to Mariam-Webster dictionary, a Luddite is “one of a group of early 19th century English workmen destroying laborsaving machinery as a protest” and more broadly, “one who is opposed to especially technological change.” We are using Luddite in the broad sense, as one who detaches from smart phones, social media, and online gaming to connect with others.
