Baby Time with Miss Michele is an interactive story time introducing early literacy to our youngest patrons.  Geared toward families with children ages 0-12 months.

Join Miss Rosie for stories, songs, fingerplays and fun! This program is geared toward preschool aged children, their caregivers and friends.  Call the library at 932-8503 for more info.  

Join Miss Michele for Toddler Time as she leads families with young children through stories, rhymes and books. For children aged 12-36 months.

Make-Believers is an energetic and engaging storytime with Miss Kate that welcomes preschoolers and their caregivers.

Need a little help with your laptop, tablet, or phone? TADL's knowledgeable staff are available to answer your basic questions during this time and can set you up with resources for more information.

Join Mr. Andy for Storytime For Bigs!  Engaging stories, songs, movement and fun for preschoolers and their caregivers. Masks are encouraged!

Join Library Director Michele P. Howard in the McGuire Room for cider, doughnuts, and a fall chit-chat!

Get ready for a Friday morning blast with Miss Amanda at Storytime! She's bringing the magic of stories, lively rhymes, and toe-tapping songs to make your preschooler's day a whole lot more fun.

To celebrate National Friends of the Library Week (October 20-26), The Friends of the Traverse Area District Library will have a display table in the Lobby. Stop by to learn more!

Programs focused on Genealogical issues. This month they will talk about: 

"Exit Enter Commit-Emigration, Immigration, and Naturalization" with Thomas Koselka

A fun, in-person, hour long exercise class based on the PWR! moves for people with or suspected Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers. The class will be run by a PWR! certified physical therapist in the McGuire Community Room.

All teen writers are welcome. Writer Jacqueline Burke will share her enthusiasm and skills. Guest authors may also come to share.

Join us for fun with LEGO and other engineering challenges. Build something tall, moveable or stable, and challenge yourself to build & create.

Whether you need volunteer hours for school or are just looking to be more active in your community, the library would be pleased to benefit from your time.

The Traverse Area District Library's Board of Trustees meeting is a regularly scheduled event and is held monthly on the third Thursday.

Find the clues, solve the puzzles, and break the code before the time runs out!

The Versiti Bus will be in the Traverse Area District Library parking lot on October 22nd from 5 pm - 8pm.

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help.
