Monthly meeting of the STEAM/Maker Alliance, a group of STEM educators who meet to discuss best practices, develop programs like MakerFest and STEM Pop-up events, and be aware of STEM offerings in our community.

Baby Time with Miss Michele is an interactive story time introducing early literacy to our youngest patrons. Geared toward families with children ages 0-12 months.

The book is always better but movies are so very entertaining. Join us and watch a movie based on a book or real life. Once in awhile we may show one just for the fun of it that is not based on anything but just pure enjoyment.  

Join your friends at the East Bay Branch Library to celebrate community with an afternoon of fun! All ages are invited to enjoy free ice cream, live music with Jesse Jefferson, face painting, glitter tattoos, a used book sale, and more!

The TADL Bookmobile will be at East Bay Branch Library for their annual Ice Cream Social!

Drop in, try on and take home our donated semi-formal & formal clothing. We have lots of dresses and suits. If you have a formal item you will no longer wear, please bring it to swap.

Youth ages 6 - 12 are invited to use their imagination to make something useful out of our recycled materials and tools. Each month has a different theme, though you can also make whatever you would like.

Children are encouraged to read aloud to TADL's kind and gentle therapy dogs. Young readers are welcome to bring their own book or choose one from the library collection.

Join us for fun with LEGO© and other engineering challenges. Build something tall, moveable or stable, and challenge yourself to build & create.

Come join the library and Up North Pride for a stress busting evening! We will be creating stress balls and other stress busting contraptions while we hang out together in a supportive welcoming environment! 

Tweens are invited to try their hands at various arts and crafts with STEAM related concepts and fun projects to make and take! This program is geared toward older kids grades 3-6.

Join Kingsley Branch Library & The Kingsley Folk School for a storytelling community circle.

Young adults 15-1/2 through the age of 18 and their parents/guardians are invited to attend an Information Session held in cooperation between the Traverse Area District Library and the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy.

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help. 

We will be hearing from two specialists in totally different fields of work that bridge together at the Migraine junction.

Facilitated freestyle writing workshop with goal of fostering creativity and writing for wellness. Each workshop will begin with a warm-up followed by a prompt to get the ideas flowing.
