Adams Fly Fest on June 3rd!

Posted on:

Join the Kingsley Friends of the Library for our largest annual fundraiser to support the Kingsley Branch Library, the Kingsley Adams Fly Festival! We'll have live music, fly tying demonstrations, casting instruction, river boat displays, fly fishing art, fly fishing merchandise, live and silent auctions, Adams fly lore and history tours, Adams Fly swag, and a microbrew tent filled with northern Michigan brews and ciders.

The Fest takes place in Kingsley’s Brownson Park, next door to the Library. Proceeds of the event are contributed to the Kingsley Friends of the Library for educational, cultural, and social programming.

Tours to Mayfield Pond Park leave at 1pm and 3pm. The Live Auction begins at 4:30pm.

An original Len Halladay Adams Fly is housed at the Kingsley Branch Library year-round for viewing. Join us for this celebration of all things fly fishing and preserving the natural beauty of our area, as well as supporting a great cause.

This event is held annually on the first Saturday in June.
