Drumroll please! One of our favorite annual programs is back by popular demand! No, it’s not Taco Tuesday– it’s Summer Reading Club!
Now that it’s May, Summer Reading is only a month away! That makes it the perfect time to announce the theme for the 2025 TADL Summer Reading Club– Color Our World!
Picture this– vibrant colors! Dynamic experiences! Sublime programs that combine creativity with excitement! We’re aiming for all this and more in this year’s Summer Reading Club. Color Our World is all about embracing the joy art brings to the world and discovering new sources of enrichment, inspiration, and creativity through artistic expression.
For the Teen Services section, that means a ton of art-themed programs of all different forms and styles. Here are some of our highlights to look forward to!
- Shibori Tie Dye on Wednesday June 18th
- Hanging Yarn Art on Tuesday June 24th
- Watercolor Texture Class on Saturday June 28th
- Book Cover Mood Boards on Monday July 7th
- Mandala Dot Art on Monday July 14th
- Colors in Nature Photography Workshop on Friday July 25th

This summer, TADL will be using Beanstack to track reading minutes–sign up to join the fun! The Summer Reading Club officially begins on June 16th, but sign-up for all ages begins on Sunday June 1st so mark your calendars! All teens participating in the 2025 Summer Reading Club will receive a themed Prize Box after signing up.
