The holidays in Youth Services

Posted on:

The holidays are a special time in Youth Services to celebrate the coming of winter and a time to play (always!), decorate (fun!) and be together (yay!). We have several fun things happening in the department throughout the month and don't want you to miss!

First of all, we have a special seasonal Seek and Find set up for all of our families starting on Friday, December 1st. Find all of the special characters throughout the department and return your sheet to the Youth Services desk for small prize.

Next, don't miss out on seasonal programs, including:

  • Candy Houses on Saturday, December 16th. Register for a spot at our 10, 10:30, 11, or 11:30 sessions.
  • Two movies, both starting at 10 AM:
    • 12/18: Stranger in the Woods (G) followed by snowman making on the front lawn (weather dependant)
    • 12/20: The Polar Express (G) preceded by make your own train car (9:30 start for making your train car)
  • A Visit with Santa and Jenny the Storytelling Elf on Saturday, 12/23 at 10 AM

Finally, don't forget to visit the department to grab some books, do some coloring or make a snowflake, and take in the holiday cheer. We'll have a photo spot set up near the Youth Services desk, too, if you would like to take a festive holiday photo (please provide your own phones or cameras for this).

Take care and be safe this holiday season!
