Responsible use of Traverse Area District Library McGuire Community Room. 

• Disclosure Required:
  • Use of facilities does not imply Traverse Area District Library endorsement of the group or of the ideas presented at the meeting. A written disclosure is required in all advertising from outside groups that use advertising to promote their meeting. Verbal disclosure is required for all others. The following statement is required: “This program is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Traverse Area District Library.” Per the Library's Film and Photography Policy, use of TADL’s name, logos, trademarks or images in connection with any photograph or film is prohibited without written permission by the Library.
• Responsible Party: You are the responsible party, we have direct contact with you.
  • Please make your group aware that you are the person responsible for making changes to the agreement.
    • If you need to make changes, please call well in advance. (231) 932-8505
    • We may not be able to honor last minute requests.
• Check in & Out: with Sight & Sound Dept.
  • If you have any AV presentation setup please arrive at least 30 minutes early.
  • Check out, so we can put equipment away before the room is unattended.
• Audio Visual Services:
  • Be sure to set up the A/V plan with our team well in advance of the event.
  • Our systems are not self-serve. Please choose your Audio Visual options from the list below
• Food & Beverages:
  • No charge if you supply your own prepared food and clean up.
  • $50 fee if you must use the kitchen facilities for food preparation.
• Cleaning up: Please clean up after your group. Overuse and Cleaning fees $100.00

Open & Close Time: Access to our facility is limited to open hours of operation by security policy.

We also ask that you ensure your group is wrapped up and out of the facility by closing time.  (Mon. - Thurs. 9 am - 8 pm, Fri. & Sat. 9 am - 6 pm, Sun. 12 pm - 5 pm)
