What are these Blind Book Boxes (AKA Teen Book Boxes) you ask?
You tell us what you like to read and we put together a package for you that includes a surprise library book, snacks and trinkets. You can receive a new Teen Book Box every other month.
Teen Book Boxes will be ready to pick up the third Friday of the month for all requests received within the first two weeks of that month. Requests received the third or fourth week of the month will have to wait for the following month. You will then receive a Teen Book Box every other month provided you mark on the survey that you would like another one. Surveys will come inside the box and should be returned with the box.
How do we choose your book?
A librarian will use what you put in your registration and any additional information from the surveys to choose a book for you. If you don’t like what we choose for you please let us know. That way your next Teen Book Box will be more suited to your reading tastes. Both the book and the box are checked out on your account. The box must be returned within four weeks but the book may be renewed up to four times. The candy and other items are yours to keep!
