The Main Library on Woodmere Ave. will be closed for the Easter holiday Sunday April 5. All other TADL libraries are regularly closed on Sundays. You can always access our digital library at tadl.org/at-home!

It’s March in Northern Michigan, and the sunny days recently have done wonders for our moods! Snow is fine for the first few months, but we’re sure we’re not the only ones who are ready for Spring to finally take over.

(TRAVERSE CITY) - We’re looking forward to a banner year at the library, starting with a new district circulation record set in 2023 of 1,346,082 items! Additional celebrations and events include:
Young adults 15-1/2 through the age of 18 and their parents/guardians are invited to attend an Information Session held in cooperation between the Traverse Area District Library and the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy.
Rock legend and Michigan native Bob Seger’s career is the focus of this author visit by Dr. Edward Sarkis Balian. His book Turn the Page: the Bob Seger Story is the first and only complete biography of this chart-topping musician.
The Traverse Area Camera Club (TACC) is proud to present photographic works created by its membership. The work covers a wide range of subject matter, including wildlife, landscape, and portrait photography.
Visit the East Bay Branch Library while you're at the East Bay Corners Farmers Market! Library staff will be available with a selection of books, a seed library, and various other offerings!
Pageturners meets on the 3rd Thursday at 6:30 PM via zoom.
Books for our book clubs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Visit the library to sign one out!
Join us--first thing in the morning--a new book club in collaboration with the Grand Traverse County Senior Center Network. We will talk about books, authors, read excerpts, maybe even have an author visit!
