In partnership with the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, we are pleased to be offering these bi-monthly informational programs about Parkinson's Disease. PD 101 is a free, in-person orientation designed to help individuals better understand Parkinson’s. Whether you’ve been newly diagnosed, have had Parkinson’s for years, are a care partner, family member, friend, or healthcare professional, this program is open to anyone looking to learn more about the disease.

Join us for an informative and supportive session covering:

  • What is Parkinson’s disease?
  • What causes PD?
  • Who gets PD?
  • Understanding motor and non-motor symptoms
  • How Parkinson’s is diagnosed
  • Treatment and symptom management options
  • Support and resources available through MPF

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with others in the Parkinson’s community.
